Celebrate America's 250th Birthday with a month-long adventure at Nye Library and the Fort Sill Field Artillery Museum! Throughout July, participants can complete a special scavenger hunt while taking part in additional themed activities that highlight America's history, creativity, and heritage.

Pick up your America's 250th Birthday Celebration Passport at Nye Library and track the events and activities you attend throughout the month. Participants who complete the scavenger hunt and at least one additional qualifying activity will be eligible for prizes. While prizes are intended for teen and adult participants, the Revolutionary War Cannon Firing demonstration is open to both children and adults.

Color & Chill
July 7, 14, and 28 | 3:30-4:45 PM
Create and decorate a patriotic-themed picture while relaxing with fellow participants.

Revolutionary War Cannon Firing
July 11 | 10 AM, 11 AM, and 12 PM
Visit the Fort Sill Field Artillery Museum for a live cannon firing demonstration and stay afterward for an Artifact Show & Tell experience.

DIY Book End Workshop
July 24 | 1-4 PM
Design and create your own patriotic-themed bookends during this hands-on workshop.

Join us as we celebrate our nation's past, honor its history, and inspire its future through engaging educational and creative experiences for the Fort Sill community.
