Fort Sill Family and MWR is hosting an Armed Forces Day Concert!  Multi-Platinum Country Superstar Trace Adkins is the headliner for the FREE Concert.

The concert is on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Fort Sill Polo Field. Gates open at 6 p.m., Fort Sill’s own 77th Army Band performs at 6:30 p.m., and special guest The Powell Brothers takes the stage at 7:20 p.m.

 

 

 

Know Before You Go:

Parking


General admission entry is at  Gate 2, located on Post Road starting at 3:15 p.m. on May 15th. From Lawton, take I-44 to Exit 40B and follow Rogers Lane west to Post Road. From Elgin, take I-44 to Exit 40C. A valid state or federal-issued ID is necessary for all attendees 16 and above. Vehicles are subject to random checks. 

Handicapped Parking is available for DoD ID card holders with a valid handicapped parking permit. Handicapped guests that do not have a DoD ID will need a visitor pass from the Visitor Control Center (T6701 Sheridan Road) prior to event. 

 

Health, Safety & Security Guidelines

• Personal belongings are subject to search at the event entry point. No backpacks.
• Coolers and similar containers are NOT allowed. 
• Outside food and drink are not permitted inside the gates. Refreshments and food are available for purchase.
• Beer is served only to patrons displaying alcohol wristband, obtained at the event entry point.
• No weapons are permitted. (Includes small knives, leatherman tools, etc.)
• No cannabis or recreational drugs are permitted.
• No professional cameras or recording devices, laptops, iPads, or tablets. 
• No pets (except service animals), glass, fireworks, or Frisbees.
• Unruly behavior will not be tolerated.
• Military Police will staff the event to maintain safety and security.

 

At the Concert Venue

• Bring your lawn chair and blanket to enjoy this free concert.
• Masks are required unless eating/drinking or when physical distancing is not possible. 
• Maintain physical distancing - at least 6 feet distance from others. 
• General Admission Area will be marked with 8 ft Circles to accommodate groups of up to four. 
• Hand sanitation stations will be placed at the venue to encourage handwashing throughout the event.
