Tournament Rules

1. Open to all USBC members.  This is a USBC Certified tournament.  This tournament will not be administered on the house pattern.                            
2. COVID-19 Mandates in effect on Fort Sill at the time of the tournament will be followed.                           
3. Entrants must include all information and FULL payment, or they will be returned.                            
4. Entrants may bowl on multiple teams, but two bowlers must be different on each team. Not more than one professional bowler on a four-member team is allowed.                            
5. Any entrant bowling more than one team event will use their first team event series for their all events total.                            
6. Each entrant may bowl doubles and singles multiple times.  Entrants must change their doubles partner to enter multiple times.  All doubles entrants must enter singles each time they bowl. Doubles and singles will be bowled on the same pair of lanes and doubles will be bowled first.  All doubles entries are allowed a maximum of one professional bowler.  Any entrant bowling multiple doubles and singles will use their first event total for their all events scores.  Bowlers may cash more than once in team and doubles events, but only one time in singles.                             
7. Substitutions will be allowed up to squad time, but to be entered in all events an entrant must be prepaid.                            
8. Awards and cash prizes will be awarded on a basis of scores plus handicap for the team, doubles,           singles, and handicap all events.  Scratch awards for the team, doubles, singles, and all events will be based on actual pinfall.                            
9. Handicap will be figured on an individual basis at 80% of 210.                            
10. Entering Average:                          

 a.   The bowler's highest certified 2019-2020 average with a minimum of 21 games verified by bowl.com.                            

b.  If no certified average from the previous year, bowlers will use the current certified average as of             May 1, 2021, with a minimum of 21 games.  The standing sheet must be provided with the entry form.              

c.  All others will bowl scratch and all PBA/PWBA bowlers must bowl scratch.                            

d.  USBC tournament Rules 319(a) (ten pin rule) will apply (average as of January 1, 2021).                      

e.  USBC Tournament Rules 319(d) (Reporting Prior Prize Winnings) will apply.                            

f.  Tournament committee reserves the right to re-rate any submitted average.     

    11.   Team, Doubles and singles will pay one(1) place for every 8 entries.  Handicap all events and scratch all              events will pay one (1) place every 15 entries.                            
    12.   In case of a tie for first place in any event, co-champions will be declared , and affected prizes and                     monies will be equally divided.                            
     13.  In the event of mechanical failure, bowlers may be moved to the next available pair of lanes.                               Any scores lost due to mechanical failure will be re-bowled.                            
     14.  The recap sheet is the official score.  Any protests regarding eligibility or general playing rules must be             submitted in writing prior to the tournament payout.  All rules and regulations will be governed by the             USBC Rulebook.                            
     15. The tournament manager reserves the right to add or delete squads due to the amount of entries or                 weather conditions.                            
     16.  All prizes will be awarded within 30 days of the end of the tournament.  Reserved entries close on                     May 28, 2021.  All reserved entries must be postmarked by May 28, 2121.  Late entries will be accepted             based on lane availability and at the tournament managers discretion.  No entries will be accepted after             June 4, 2021.  All fees must accompany entries.                              
     17. Bowlers winning more than $50.00 will be required to fill out a W9 before receiving and prize monies.
