The Month of the Military Child (MOMC)

Every April, the Month of the Military Child (MOMC) recognizes the courage, resilience, and everyday sacrifices of military children.

The Month of the Military Child (MOMC) is celebrated each April to honor the resilience and sacrifices of military-connected children. In 2026, MWR shines a spotlight on the unique experiences of military youth—shaped by moves, deployments, and constant change. This year’s theme, “Strength in Every Story,” celebrates their adaptability, character, and the powerful stories that define life in a military family.
