Join in as Fort Sill commemorates 150 years of service to our nation. As the kickoff to a year's worth of celebrations, the Founders Day Retreat & Night at the Museum will allow visitors a glimpse into Fort Sill's past and provide an opportunity to witness the time-honored traditions that surround our Army.

The retreat ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m. with an Army bugler playing at the Old Post Quadrangle. In addition, there will be a proclamation reading, remarks from the commanding general, a mass reenlistment and a muzzle-loaded cannon crew firing.

Following the ceremony, the Fort Sill National Historic Landmark and Museum will have a "Night at the Museum" event until 6 p.m.The event will feature living historical figures, historic treasures, and refreshments provided by the USO.

The event is free and open to the public. Stop by the visitor's center for a pass if needed. For more information, contact Fort Sill and Fires Center of Excellence
