School Age Center

Fort Sill School Age Center is a nationally accredited program with Council on Accreditation (COA) and maintains certification through the Department of Defense (DoD). Personnel are highly trained and well qualified to care for school age children. The program is designed for children in first through fifth grade.

School Age Center staff plans a variety of fun and exciting activities, which include arts and crafts, sewing, cooking, computer technology, table games, and outdoor play. SAC also offers homework assistance and a full computer lab during the school year Monday through Friday during program hours.

 

Force of the Future

5 a.m. - 7 p.m. 14 Hour Child Care

Fort Sill Child and Youth Services will be providing Extended Child Care Opening Hours in support of Force of the Future Pilot Program. 

Operating hours at Cooper Child Development Center and School Age Center will be adjusted to meet the scheduled accommodation of 14 hours a day, 5 a.m. - 7 p.m.  

Any care provided outside of the normal 12 hour day will require Command approval.

Before and After School Program

School Age Center provides a before and after school program during the school year and a Summer Day Camp for the 13 weeks of summer. Childcare fees, established by the DoD fee policy, are based on Total Family Income(TFI). Hours of operation are from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. School vacation and LPS Professional Development days are included at no additional cost for those families enrolled in before school and after school programs. An Army Standard Hourly Care Rate of $5.00 per hour for School Age Children is established for Families needing 5 or fewer hours of Child Care per week. School Age Hourly Care may be used in 30 minute or 1 hour increments. Users may not exceed five (5) hours per week at this rate or accumulate hours from week to week.SAC3.jpg

Summer Camp Program

Fort Sill School Age Center Summer Camp Program is scheduled on a week to week basis for 12 week. We have lots of fun activities and field trips planned. SAC is a fun, safe and friendly environment to allow the children that have finished 1st grade to those that have finished 5th grade to have a great summer!
