Buffalo Soldiers Run

3 Mile Run/Walk that highlights historical impacts/contributions Buffalo Soldiers have made to Fort Sill. 

• Location: 3-Mile Track (Across from Garcia DFAC)
• Time: 10 a.m. 

The event is FREE to participate. T-shirts are available to purchase while supplies last. 

Open to all Fort Sill-Lawton Community.  

Participants who don’t have DoD ID will need a visitor pass from the Visitor Control Center (T6701 Sheridan Rd.) or visit sill-www.army.mil/vcc prior to the event.

Directions: Head north on Sheridan Rd. and then turn right onto Mow-Way Rd. to 3-Mile Track.

** For those wishing to participate in the Buffalo Soldier Run / Walk on Saturday, 12 February 2022 at 10:00am, it is recommended to enter the installation at Sheridan Road (Bentley Gate). This will alleviate potential traffic delays due to railcar movement north of Sheridan Road.**
